Debbie Goldwasser,
For many years, I have been on a journey, one that I did not even know I was on or
where it would lead me.

I worked at a job that for years I loved ….until I didn’t.  It came to the point where it
no longer served me.  There was no joy in it but instead frustration and
unhappiness.  I stayed too long because of fear and worry.  I decided to leave
because the cost to me was too much.  I left a different person from when I began.
I needed help to find the me I had lost.  I turned to a trusted friend who
recommended a life coach.  I had never been to one before and had no idea what
to expect.  It was the best thing I have ever done for myself.  The work we did
together was amazing. I found what I had lost in myself, found a different way to
look at things in life, to see everything as an opportunity. Working with her lead me
to find my purpose.

In addition, I have struggled with my weight for a long time.  I would lose some, only
to gain it back.  I always had the hope that with every new diet book, nutritional
guide or weight loss program, this would be it. That by some magic by possessing
the knowledge I would have the body I wanted.

I found the training I took at The Institute for the Psychology of Eating totally by
chance.  The more I learned about it, the more it resonated deep within me.  It
married practices I had learned though my own coaching process with concepts
that gave me the tools to deal with my long time struggle with dieting.  I have come
out the other side feeling more at peace with who I am, my relationship with food
and my own body.

I took the training not only to be a gift to myself but also a gift to others.  I want to
share what I have learned and guide others to their own insights and the lifting of
their struggles
