Acupuncture has been used as a safe, effective, and natural treatment for infertility
for thousands of years. The first gynecological records originate from China
approximately and date back about 1500 years. Acupuncture’s unique perception of
the body can significantly improve the changes of becoming pregnant.  Oriental
Medicine treats the whole person - not just the symptoms. By resolving underlying
imbalances and eliminating the causes of fertility, acupuncture can bring the mind and
body to optimal health and allow for a healthy and sustained pregnancy.

Research has shown that acupuncture can:
  • Regulate the menses
  • Promote ovulation in non-ovulatory women
  • Assist in regulating the hormones
  • Promote blood flow to the uterus
  • Improve the absorption of nutrients of the uterine lining increasing the chances
    of implantation
  • Increase the number of egg follicles
  • Enhance ovarian function by improving blood circulation through the pelvic area
  • Improve sperm count, motility, and morphology
  • Reduce stress, anxiety, and the other stress hormones that may significantly
    reduce fertility

In addition, there are techniques used in my office to gain a great deal of information
on hormonal changes throughout the month and pin-pointing the time one is most
likely to conceive.

The statistics show that more and more people struggle with problems conceiving
naturally.  Statistics also show that acupuncture is very effective at increasing fertility
in completely natural and safe ways.  There are now countless studies and published
research findings clearly demonstrating that the use of acupuncture can improve
fertility both when used alone or when combined with Western medicine assisted
reproductive therapies.

Hold on…

Allow me to rephrase that.  What I mean to say is,
“As a very professional Doctor of Oriental Medicine(NM) and
Licensed Acupuncturist with specialized training in gynecology
and infertility, it brings be great joy when a client I am treating
for infertility becomes pregnant… with someone else’s child…
not mine.

Of course, my favorite testament to the
effectiveness of acupuncture and
Oriental Medicine in the treatment of
infertility is when I have the opportunity
to meet and hold one of the little babies
I had the honor of helping come into
the world.
